Newly complete, the refurbishment and re-styling of the 4th floor of Paramount Court. We are currently re-modelling all of the common parts of this 7-storey Art Deco inspired apartment building in W1. We have also embarked on the concept design phase for the ground floor Lobby.
We also custom-designed some ‘skyscraper’ wall lights for the project, working with artisan lighting company Fritz Fryer. Crafted from opalescent white glass and Tiffany style metal leading.
We are currently re-modelling the common parts of an Art Deco inspired apartment building in W1. Paramount Court is an impressive 7-storey building on the corner of University Street and Tottenham Court Road, home to around 140 apartments. Steeped in local history, it was the first residential design project by designers of the old Paramount Cinema, which used to stand on the site next to the building. We are re-styling all seven long long corridors as well as the main building entrance and Lobby.
With one of corridors now complete, we are also mid-way through the concept design phase for the ground floor Lobby, which is very exciting. Our design concept draws upon Art Deco references, but with a modern twist, with design features inspired by history but bringing them to life in high contemporary materials and finishes. See below for the original design concept renders.
